a short introduction of us as collaborators

contact
Ivar Myrset Asheim (NO) and Søren Linding Urup (DK) met in 2021 through a common interest and curiosity for cross-artistic collaborations as graduate students at Rythmic Music Conservatory and The Danish National School of Performing Arts in Copenhagen. They formed their project SESH as a transdisciplinary, performing arts practice aiming to investigate connections and co-creation in the space between music and dance. Their shared mode of working explores emergent musical qualities of movement and dance, and qualities of movement in music and drumming. It develops ways to invite another into the practice and to communicate and create through improvisational and compositional methods.
